We play a major role across the rail network. As a partner to Network Rail, train operating companies and Government agencies throughout the UK we supply services across the whole range of rail operations from engineering to project management.
Working with partners such as Colas (formerly SECO), we bring together planning, design and operations skills and renew around 160 kilometres of track every year at over 150 sites.
The challenges we face are diverse. They range from installing 1,065 kilometres of cabling in the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (CTRL), to keeping 30 million passengers a year at Birmingham New Street Station safe and well-informed via 241 CCTV cameras and 117 customer information displays. We also examine 35,000 railways structures a year.
